Teresa has been a metalsmith for 27 years and has taught silver fabrication, both privately and to adult and junior members of the San Diego Mineral & Gem Society for six years during the 90s.

In 1990 she became a juried member of SVAC and within two years she became the leaseholder of studio #19.

She became a member of the San Diego D.C. 202 of the Colored Pencil Society of America in 2003. She is now one of its past presidents (2006-2008.) Currently she continues to serve on its Executive Board as Treasurer, (2009-present.)

She was the SVAC Gallery 21 manager for five years (2000-2006), coordinating many successful art shows during her tenure including the annual invitational exhibition, CATS: Nine Lives for Art.

Today she continues to create and display her award winning metal art jewelry and her colored pencil paintings from her studio #40 in the Spanish Village in Balboa Park.
